Many tips, suggestions and guidelines for greening your home. Great place to begin your research. The Green Home Guide is free to use. Purchases on the main USGBC site include: Membership, LEED Registration, on-line courses, conference proceedings & publications. Lovely guiding principles, however, purusing the "member directory" might make you think that green refers to dollars rather than an organization's commitment to sustainability. Plenty of retailers on the list are selling a few green products, but their overall commitment to healthful communities is dubious at best. (Best Buy, Amazon, Chrysler, etc.)
